The way those two pieces intertwine together and ultimately build connection is what captivates me in many ways.

Connection to place outside of yourself and within. Something that can be known with a deep level of intimacy and a true understanding of just how wildly connected everything is. Intimacy with the land feels like something that’s been lost somewhere along the way but reigniting it has the power to change things for the betterment of everything in a way that can’t be replicated.

Art has always felt like such a beautiful jumping off point for all of this. It can illuminate that spark of wonder we all have, the excitement that comes with creativity, a hint of playfulness intwined in beauty. An open doorway for discovery beyond the work itself.
